Ms. Angela
My name is Angela and I grew up in Cameron Park, CA. When I was in high
school, I took an ROP Careers with Children class and realized that I really enjoyed working
with kids. I started working at a daycare while I went to college, where I got my BA degree in art
from CSU Sacramento. After I graduated from college in 2002, I found Krista and Madrone
Montessori School. I found that the Montessori philosophy made sense to me and I realized that this was what I wanted to do. I went on to get my Montessori certificate from NAMC and I have been teaching at Madrone for 15 years now. Four and a half years ago, I got a Boston Terrier puppy named Zoey that started coming to school with me everyday. She spends more time at home now with her dog roommate, but she still loves the days that she gets to come to school. I live in downtown Sacramento, where I love doing yoga, riding my bike, seeing local art and music, and hanging out with friends. I also love taking pictures and going snowboarding in the winter. I am very passionate about traveling and have been to many places around the world. I hope to continue seeing all of the amazing cultures and countries that are out there. One day I would like to say that I have been to every continent! I love being able to share my adventures with the kids at school.
